There are costs associated with a cadastral procedure. Just how much the costs will be depends upon how much time we need to work on the matter. You can read more here about what it costs, and obtain an estimate of how much you will need to pay.
It costs between SEK 50,000 and 100,000 – occasionally even more
In the normal case, the cost is often between SEK 50,000 to SEK 100,000, sometimes significantly more. The cost includes a charge of a basic amount for all applications submitted, and in some cases an additional amount, plus an hourly rate for work performed:
- The basic amount is SEK 6,500. However, the cost is higher if more than five property units are involved. If this is the case an additional amount is applied. The basic and additional amounts together range between SEK 6,500 and 18,500.
- An hourly rate for all of our work with your application. The fee is SEK 900 or 1,700 per hour.
You will be notified of the fees and costs after an administrator has been assigned to the case
It will not be until you have submitted your application and an administrator has been assigned your case and commenced their investigation that you can be informed if it is possible to implement your application and what the costs will be.
There is a cost associated with all work related to the application
We charge for all work with the application and the measures you apply for, irrespective of what the final outcome is:
- if it may be possible to implement what you are applying for
- if what you are applying for can not be implemented
- or even if you withdraw the application.
The work we charge for starts immediately when we receive the application. For example, we need to check if you have the legal right to apply for changes to the property and if the application contains the information and documentation that is needed to proceed. Even if you were to withdraw the application immediately, the fee would usually be a minimum of at least SEK 6,500–18,500.
If it turns out that it is not possible to implement what you are applying for, it is usually the person (or persons) who have submitted the application who will be obligated to pay for the work we have already done.
